Advertise Your Photos To Help Raise CDH Awareness

Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Awareness Ribbon
You have completed your photo shoot, you have some amazing pictures and now you need to raise some Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Awareness!!!

Contact your local newspaper, TV stations and magazines to tell them about the shoot.  Just search on-line for contact information for local reporters and e-mail them or call them.

Don't worry - we'll make it easy for you!   Form letters can be found here.

Some great ways to advertise your photographs:

Please remember to post them as advertisements and not just photographs.  Our mission is to raise CDH Awareness!
  • Post photos on your personal web site
  • Post photos on your blog
  • Post photos on Facebook, Myspace and other social networking sites
  • Ask your local newspaper to do a story on your cherub and the campaign
  • Ask your local tv station to do a story on your cherub and the campaign
  • Local cable news channels usually jump at any story
  • Ask your local magazines to do a story on your cherub and the campaign
  • Car magnets are very affordable (and sometimes free!) at vistaprint.com
  • Put a sign up in your yard
  • Put up a poster at your child's school
  • Signs come in all sizes, from poster to building size
  • Ask a local printer to donate signage
  • Cover your car or RV with a graphic wrap
  • Athletic parks offer cheap advertising
  • Fliers are great also
  • Ask your local shopkeepers to display fliers or posters in their store windows
  • Put a giant poster on your building or house (if ok by local law)
  • Use photos on invitations for fundraisers
  • Use photos on holiday or greeting cards to raise awareness
  • Put your photos on clothing
  • Digital advertising is often much cheaper and donated more than printed advertising and is often used on billboards, in shopping malls, stores, etc.
Our goal is to get as many people to see these ads and photographs as possible to teach the public about Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia!!!    We can help with graphic art design for advertisements, just contact us with your cherub's name and the dimensions needed.

Please remember the following:

  • Always, always give the photographer credit and link to his / her web site!
  • Please link back to this campaign at http://www.savethcherubs.org
  • You are welcome to use the campaign logo (to the right)
  • In most cases, we cannot afford to pay for billboards or advertisements at this time (we're working on it!) so please try for donations or hold a fundraiser to cover the costs
  • vistaprint.com is a very affordable site for posters, car magnets, etc that often offers free promotions
  • We can help with graphic art design for advertisements, just contact us with your cherub's name and the dimensions needed
  • Photographs from this campaign may not be used by other sites, companies, charities, projects, etc other than to promote the Save the Cherubs campaign.
